Safety Checks Spinning Up Mission Briefing Risk Assessment Briefing Range Control OP Phantom
On Tuesday, the 5th of November, the AO Flight team flew two demonstration flights for the Natural Resources Management Branch at Ft. Hood, Texas during the morning Range down time. The two flights were flown from OP Phantom into PD94, the permanent dudded area to demonstrate the EO (day side) and FLIR (night side) camera capability and the ability to create accurate Geo-referenced map files used for government requirements such as burn mapping of the endangered species habitat. The flights were flawless and impressive. AO Flight is one of the very few commercial operators authorized to fly on military reservations anywhere in the US. Our equipment has been previously granted an Airworthiness Release by the US Army Aviation Engineering Directorate.
