AO Flight Applications, LLC has received credentialing through the National Unmanned Aircraft Systems Credentialing Program (NUASCP), a program developed by the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) and the Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence and Innovation (LSUASC) at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. http://www.teex.org/nuascp
“This credentialing program promotes safe and legal commercial UAS operations, and provides 3rd party vetting of operators and vendors, including a live-flight operational audit,” said Steven Williams, Director of Operations for the National sUAS Credentialing Program. “This company has joined a select group of companies that have voluntarily completed an audit of their operational and safety policies, procedures and qualifications to operate Part 107 small UAS.” Qualified operators that complete the program are provided with a certificate that serves to differentiate them from other FAR 107 Operators as voluntarily enrolling in and satisfactorily completing a program to further demonstrate their ability to safely and effectively operate Part 107 small UAS.
